Life is interesting. But only if you stop to see it.
I am a growing photographic explorer with a passion for capturing life as it happens, as I happen to see it. I primarily shoot street and architecture, but I pursue a range of styles and tend to capture anything in my path that captures my eye.
I also prefer to shoot in black and white, which varies based on context.
I live, love, and explore in Seattle, Washington.
What’s in my bag
I shoot film as well as digital, exclusively using Nikon cameras and Nikkor lenses:
Digital: Nikon Zf
Lenses: Nikkor Z 40mm f/2; Nikkor Z 14-30mm f/4 S
Anolog: Nikon FE2, F3
Films: Ilford HP5; Kodak TMAX; Kodak Tri-X
I develop my own film at home, and digitize my images using an Epson V270 flatbed scanner at high resolution.
While I like to capture people and scenes as they are presented to me, I do also perfect my images in Photoshop — not to alter the images, but to render them as any photographer would in a darkroom setting.
